My Background

Growing up I spent a lot of time in my backyard, which I referred to as, “The Enchanted Forest.” Instinctively drawn to nature and earth elements, I conjured up earthy trinkets—berries, rocks and sticks which served as both a magick wand and the tool to stir up my “potions”. I pressed and preserved various flowers, leaves and weeds that held both beauty and purpose, creating my own version of grimoire.

Those days are the roots of The October Afterglow. A natural progression of handmade BoHo witchy aesthetic that brings outdoor elements to be displayed and enjoyed as masterfully crafted and foraged home decor.

My Medium

This is merely the beginning for The October Afterglow. You can expect to see much more in 2022 as well as pieces in many different mediums. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style.

My Inspiration

You can find me scoping out botanical gardens and going on hiking adventures, as to which, many of my pieces are directly influenced by these moments in nature. I am also a HUGE Halloween & horror fan 🎃 I love integrating these three interests into my pieces, each making for a unique concept with an underlying foundation: Refined Forest Witch ✨
